You'd think people would've waited for at least a gameplay trailer before throwing MILLIONS at it.
Right now it's all hopes and hot air, I'll wait until there's actually a game to judge before I even think of buying it.

If they didn't throw millions at it there never would've been a gameplay trailer. There are many trailers. Even a demo or two. The game is looking good.

Think of it from an investor's point of view, at the very least you want a rough prototype proof of concept before you throw money at it, so far we've gotten some CGI and and a look at a few models doing a few things, it's barely anything and IMO not very convincing; I mean, surely veteran game developers would be able to at least throw together a low poly unity demo of sorts (Elite Dangerous had something more than that out pretty fast) I just don't want to get burned, and I don't want to see hundreds of thousands of other hopeful people get burned as well.

Actually in the trailers those were in game assets.

Edited by JOSH55886: 1/22/2014 4:49:54 AMThey've actually showed some dog fighting missions and showed how each part of the ship, literally, can break off and float away when shot. They've showed landing on a planet to, and exploring a building. But yeah, I see where you're coming from.
