Didn't play TLOU because -blam!- uncharted 3 and GTAV was a boring, broken mess

Uncharted 3 was missing several key people who made Uncharted 2. They went on to make TLOU, and it shows, so much.

I know. You've said it before. No matter how much I hear you, the internet, or my brother rave about it I have no motivation to play it even though it's right there in front of me. Then again I have no motivation to play any games recently.

At least try it, one day. If your main problem with Uncharted 3 was gameplay/story. Well, you should be fine. TLOU is still linear, obviously, but not as much as Uncharted. The gameplay is nowhere near Uncharted's type. If you play, play on hard, no aim assist, no help, no hints. It's played best that way. The story is much better too. The story was designed... as a story. Not a story to fit the setpieces in the games, not that TLOU has any setpieces anyway...
