I have those two as well.

What's the deal with SCII HD (I still haven't gotten it 'cause I'm poor)? I've heard some people say that the online was great and smooth blah blah blah and others saying that it's complete shit.
-
I only have a PS2 copy of SC II
-
Gamecube version, ftw.

What is best in life? To crush your enemies with obese goat legged tiara wearing men? To hear the cries and lamentations that stem from their butthurt?
-
ugly big-boobed librarians and creepy strong-jawed men ftw.
-
If you ever get SCV we should play. I also have some friends that play it as well and we pretty much duke it out with the stupidest shit we can think of so it can get pretty fun as we strategically button mash our way to victory with the occasional combo or special move thrown in.
-
i had it then gave it away, i really didnt like it as much as IV.
-
Well fuck
-
What? Is there something wrong with being good at a game?
-
every competitive SC player i have ever played only spams the same 3 chain combos. im not sure i would call that good considering anyone can press buttons in a sequence over and over again.
-
There are legitimately good players though, King Byakko is one of them (not an mlg player or anything, just really -blam!-ing good).
-
the one guy i have seen online in SCIV that i would say is 'good' is i2Quick4U. Granted he only uses Maxi, but at least he uses the whole button set for the character and not 3/4 combos all the time. i dont follow/spectate/know of pro/MLG people. im a 'filthy causal'.
-
Not that -blam!-ing bitch. I have played him too many times. He has a freaking pattern I see but I still fall for it. Also, Maxi is a pretty bullshit style.
-
oh? he's not bad he just plays fast if you catch him with a parry/grab he gets -blam!-ed up since a lot of his moves pull you in.
-
I do know how to counter some of Maxi's moves if he tried to use him, so I would usually get close to beating him. But still. Atleast Maxi is somewhat easier to counter in SCV, but he got a giant -blam!-ing damage boost.
-
i didnt like SCV enough to keep it.
-
Well, they did -blam!- up quite a few of the characters, especially my Siegfried. ;~; He had so many good tactics and combos in SCIV, now he has nothing but freaking whiffing issues.
-
no Kilik, no play.
in all seriousness it didnt feel like a SC game when i played it.
-
lol Maxi. I don't call anyone who uses him good, even if they actually are. Maxi pad is trash, but that's just how I feel about it, so don't take it to heart. My friend KB is good with every character, but will wreck some serious shit when he uses DJ, Algol or Nightmare.
-
yeah i know Maxi is a 'noob' character or whatever, but like i said when i loose (which i do because i cant even fighting game) i dont feel cheated. people who play well with every character is pretty awesome.
-
Well maybe people are just doing combos that give them the maximum damage output instead of just any old output? Besides, I'm sure they also do variations of them.
-
i have had so many Asteroth players do the same moves in sequence it leads me to believe there is a YouTube tutorial "how to be good at SCIV" where it shows the 3-5 chain moves required to KO 15 seconds into the match. that, to me, isnt being good. in my mind its similar to people who choose unbalanced (over-powered) guns in FPSs because they cant win otherwise. Okay, so just Astraroth players spam the same combos. Hell, astaroth is a cheap character anyways.
