I don't think this is that as great for Sony, I'm sure it'll still be worth them investing in, but Japn did horrible things to China in WWII, and I think its possible that some may still hold a grudge over them for that.

Nintendo (iQue) and Sony products already do well there. (Same with anime and manga btw.) The ultra nationalists probably aren't huge gamers. Really they've been selling gaming systems there for a while. They've just been under restriction.

Even then kinda forced outside companies to do joint ventures with Chinese companies in order to navigate the bureaucracy. I believe consoles also came with time limits on how long you could play, but not sure on that. [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IQue]Here's Nintendo products that have launched there already[/url]. I know PS3's have sold there legally and a MS joint venture console was in the works. Then you have the grey and black market sales as well.
