Before 2011 (I believe didn't quote me on that year) Sony as a company hadn't profited in 5 years, so yes thy are hurting a little. They had to sell of tons of buildings and fire tons of people.

Sony hasn't had the best years in recent years like lot people think. I think they sold like 2 or 3 buildings that they own in cites and everything.

Right. If you think about 10-12 years ago. Sony stereos, headphones, & tv's were top of the line. Now they are more like middle of the pack with the exception of the Playstation 4

Sony have been operating in the red for years.
