Legio Invictus is a Titan legion, I'm pretty sure they first appeared in Mechanicum by Graham McNeil, only one Astartes legion (space marines) appeared in the novel. Well just saying that is were your dad might of got the inspiration from.

The Legio Invictus wasn't mentioned in mechanicum but was in another book Ps Legio Invictus chapter is completely fake and has neat back story that makes them a second founding of the grey knights who hunt chaos infected Xenos I only ever discovered the Titan legion after we created the chapter
