Also, thanks for finding that trick in the Great Journey, it saves me a lot of trouble having to kill those Wraith drivers. Luck is a huge factor in that encounter.

Sounds good! Though Halo 2 Vista isn't quite ideal for speedrunning. Sword flying is a lot harder. You can still have a run without sword flying, but it won't be WR pace. It'd be quite the feat though.

It could be possible to do missions like Metropolis, Great Journey and Cairo Station in a decently fast time, though. I'm not sure whether they have patched superbouncing in Vista, however.

Hopefully Halo 2 Anniversary happens. Likewise, Outskirts and Quarantine Zone. I'm not sure either.

If it is announced the very first thing I'll try to do is make it clear that sword flying needs to return. Neogaf is probably the best medium for this, Nokyard already posts there and he could probably ask Frankie on behalf of the entire speedrunning community. I've gotten close to the Outskirts record and the Arbiter record, maybe 1-2 seconds off. I can't get the sword lunge through the window trick to work, even on my PAL Xbox. I have a feeling it will be a 2015 release, if at all.

I certainly hope not. Sounds good! Nice! Yeah that one's hard to pull off. I know someone who also has PAL Halo 2 and he hasn't pulled it off yet. Yeah that'd be awesome.

I know it's been done on the underwater elevator on Regret, people have lunged through the glass to kill the 3 Jackals faster.

That sounds good, but the Regret elevators are broken in a lot of ways :). Someone needs to make a tutorial on this.
