As I understand it, it's about two or three dollars higher than the Canadian minimum wages as well. There are only a few countries in the world with higher cost-of-living-adjusted minimum wages than ours.

Sounds like the US needs a little work then, if their federal minimum wage is that low.

Australian dollars are worth ten cents less than a US dollar. Now you could say that's not much and adds up to a still higher wage but also remember everything in Australia is priced much higher as well.

Our minimum wage is still higher than the Democrats' minimum wage proposal, even if you account for cost of living.
