Sort of. Last summer I got to spend 3 months in the US with my girlfriend who lives there. Coming home was awful. But that's really only because I miss her.

3 months is a bit of a long time, did you feel settled in while you were there? You know that kind of 'home' feeling when you settle in on a trip.

I did, although that's probably got more to do with her than where I was staying.
