From what I can tell Sparkles made obvious jokes about harming an annoying college student. If that's a banable offence then I don't understand why 85% of this forum isn't banned, I see most of you making meaningless threats all the time.

Pretty much going back to when the pick and choose who to ban again. Self Moderation is the future we know best at Bungie.

That's exactly why the reports are worthless and should just be gotten rid of.

People often include that as part of the joke, and I didn't see the original post before the edit and from the comments it appears very obviously Sparkles was joking. We'll say maybe 30% of the forum deserves a ban in that case, then.

It was pretty damn serious. And if you ask me, the guy's deranged enough to do it. Unless he's just putting on a show to get attention.
