If the "natural cycle" of warming continues at the present rate, anyone who happens to live to close to the coast will be displaced by flooding. If the Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets melt, you can say goodbye to New York, Miami, Tokyo, and Venice. Among others. Is there any evidence of worldwide flooding on that scale at any point since the ice caps came into existence? I'm sure there are at least a few climatologists who would have considered that worthy of study.
