on the pc version in the chat box it actually says 'REQUEST AMMO' and the player's name who has requested it. I don't know how console version does it but on pc there is no excuse for not handing out ammo. Yet people still don't do it lol

You can make it to where all teams speak English. If you are a support and you hear a com call, it is either something being spotted or a call for ammo. If it's the latter the person calling for ammo will have a flashing ammo icon in the minimap.
