So Cyclone told me that the next time I go to a con my communication should go as follows:

>Attempt to talk about interests

Don't compliment, comment instead. "damn, how long did that take you?" This creates a genuine conversation.

Girls spend their whole lives being called pretty and beautiful, they go to a bar and legions of beta WKs are there to bring them up. Well it's a con, if they're cosplaying it's a quick easy way to tell them they're attractive while bringing up a mutual interest.
