If it's reflecting light, the first thing that comes to mind is that it might be a comet. I know comet ISON had gotten pretty bright in the night sky before it got gobbled up by the sun.
Edit - Or maybe it's just a planet. I DON'T KNOW!

Edited by ManifestMadoka: 12/13/2013 7:05:12 AMISON had a couple of nights where it was visible, but this was tonight. ISON got roasted days ago. On top of that, it wasn't moving anywhere near fast enough to be a comet.
