A lot of high school students get these rings to commemorate their upcoming graduation. Costs quite a bit but it's cool to remember and the manufacturers will buy them back to discount your college class ring (which usually costs more). Something I found funny, the company that made mine will let you have up to two alterations to your ring to have the ring tightened/expanded and/or have the graduation year updated.
