From what I've heard, Obama is a terrible leader. Also, Hitler was more popular at the time.

The U.S. is better under Obama than it was under Bush.

*sigh* I really don't want to get into it right now, but considering that our country isn't in shambles I'd say that Obama is doing alright. He certainly isn't the worst president there is...contrary to popular belief.
our country isn't in shambles
According to who? We are in an unsustainable war, and Obama has no intentions of withdrawing from it, the only reason he withdrew from Iraq was because Iraqi leaders stated they would no longer grant amnesty to the war crimes of US soldiers. We also have an exponentially increasing debt, and the Federal Reserve is literally destroying our currency and making it lose the entirety of its value. They literally steal from you by creating more currency out of nothing and devaluing the dollar.

Edited by MR DEATHBOT: 12/9/2013 7:08:26 PMHave we already forgotten the depression? It's only been 80 years. Things can be a lot worse but instead of trying to make things better we sit around and point fingers. That's all Americans can seem to do these days.
-
We point fingers because that is the only thing we can do. American citizens have no voice, and the tyrants that continue to oppress us have too much power.
-
The U.S. is far from a tyranny, nobody is being "oppressed", and citizens have a lot more voice than you think. They just refuse to use it. The U.S. use to be about pursuing your goals and not letting anything stop you. Now we just sit and pout, blaming everybody else for our personal problems.

If the U.S. government is trying to be a tyranny they're not doing a very good job at it. Considering the power is still split three ways and we still retain many freedoms that actual tyrants don't usually give their countries. Americans are just overly entitled. I don't pretend that our government is 100% transparent, but we're not living in some tyrannical police state either.

That is simply not true, but I am here to debate and argue, so I will respect your opinion and move on.
