Once I've graduated, they will let me do whatever I want, but till then, they'd go insane if I tried something like that. Now if one of my friends had AC4, then I could go play it as much as I liked without them saying anything.

No, I'm American. My ancestry traces from Europe. Germans, Jews, British, Bohemian ancestors. It's 2 1/2 years yet.

Cool. I suggest you gain some control. Parents are pretty stupid sometimes. You may regret letting them run your youth.

How to do that without making them just say, you're so thick-headed and unplugging the console, telling me not to use the computer for a week and so forth?

You have to be confident and persistent. Let then ground you a couple times, but eventually you will have some freedom. You need to have a little sacrifice.

I hated being grounded the one time I was (it was over a different issue), so I think I'll be looking towards graduation and thanks for the advice.
