Someone made this gem and I thank them for it. Best of VGX.
Now, I genuinely like Keighley and the idea of VGX and I think the format was better than in previous years. It was wonderful to see developers able to discuss their games and to get a bit of insight into the development of these monolithic titles, which is something that scarcely reaches the general public. Game development is costly, time consuming, and difficult and any way that the industry can shed some light on that and humanize the development is good in my book. So kudos to them on attempting to do that. But, sadly, it felt a tad rushed, unrehearsed and Joel Mchale was being an ass to an extreme degree.

Andddddd Viacom blocked it and I can't watch it, dammit.

I don't think Joel was being an ass..I think he was trying to add some humor to the show which I don't think the VGXs needed they should have just left him out and let Geoff do his normal thing and I would have included different choice of music and that is coming from someone who loves rap

"That I thought it was a good idea to host a live nerd thing" I died.

I love Keighley's enthusiasm and his knowledge of gaming, actually asking interesting questions (like all proper games journalists). I don't get the hate on him, just because he gets excited for everything. He's a presenter, that's his job, to keep people watching.

"knowledge of gaming" Im sorry but LOL. Maybe at one point in time, but the man is nothing more than a husk filled with CODE RED.

Yeah, I didn't know how to phrase 'knowledge of gaming'. I just love how he's as knowledgeable about the industry as the likes of us peons on the Internet, and asks the sort of stuff we're rabidly hungry for. I don't know what Code Red is.
