The stupidity is strong with those who think "greek" means college partying and drinking because they name their club after a letter of the greek alphabet.
And also, the obligatory "lolfrats". Was a member of one for two years before moving on, finding better friends and joining an actual society that does not revolve around behaving like complete tools. Probably one of the better choices I ever made, considering what my life's like now.

The only people that say those stupid things are those who have zero experience with Greek life. I have never met someone that regretted going greek

Please do point out where I said I regretted it. I joined, enjoyed the two years I was a member, got in touch with better people and left. I do not regret my time there. I just see it in a different light now so I can safely say "lolfrats".

No I was referring to others. I was agreeing with you.

In that case, I agree. Now do keep in mind that I don't think fraternities are awful. My time spent there was rather enjoyable. But I do have to express my dislike for them. The blatant superiority complex that often goes along with them and the fact that they're ridiculously overrated has put me and many others off.
