I would, and still do, explore a lot, even without telling someone I was leaving. I just expected people to understand that I was on an adventure.
I also would burn ants with a magnifying glass.

That's cool. Did you find any treasure?

I found some ancient fossils in creeks, but not much more than that. It was mainly so I could live in imaginary worlds.

Either way finding anything's cool. I would be lucky if I found penny on the ground lol. That's always a nice place to have, an imaginary world.
