People need to realize that there is a publishing deal between Bungie and Activision. Activision most likely controls most of the marketing strategies for Destiny, and there might be a marketing deal in place with Sony to promote Destiny first on the PS4. Think of it like a marketing deal between Activision and MS for Call of Duty.
There is not a hatred there for either console, but they are probably bared under agreement from actively promoting the Xbox platform with Destiny. Bungie has stated that they are committed to optimizing each version for their own respective console, which should be more important than seeing some logo branded on footage versus the other.

That's the whole truth, I've been trying to get people to understand that it isn't Bungie's fault.

That has nothing to do with congratulating MS on the xbox one, like they did on the release of the PS4 Come one Butane, you know better.

Look at everything they did during the PS4 launch. You can see it is all for promotion and building an identity for Destiny. It was all a marketing strategy. Look at all the marketing done for Destiny so far. It is extremely obvious there is a marketing deal in place there. We don't know what it is, but it could very well boil down to "Please don't mention our competitors when discussing this, this, and this. Yes, I do think there was something in a contract that made them exclude any congratulations for MS. Plus seeing a certain evil AI image when I look at my notifications linking back to my previous post kinda makes me think I'm on to something...

I would assume, you are likely correct about a marketing deal with Activision and Sony. What I don't understand is why Bungie would be alright with promoting so much press in Sony's direction without doing anything for Microsoft. I actually don't see why it is in Activision's interests either, being a multi-platform publisher for years.

I'd assume on any business partnerships that Activision has a bit more control over the situation than Bungie does. I'm sure most business and administrative aspects are handled by publishers more than developers. Look at EA, Respawn, and Titanfall. Respawn said they learned that EA made a deal with MS to make it exclusive to the One just a few weeks before it was made public. As for why it would be beneficial for Activision, it is for a reason I've been stating for awhile. They already have a huge partnership with CoD on the Xbox platforms. Now they have CoD and Destiny, both FPS. Now you and I can easily see the difference between the two, but to the masses, they're going to see the same perspective and shooting things in the face. It is in Activision's best interest to try to sell both at an optimal amount without cannibalizing the other's sales. Easiest way to do this: focus on slightly different markets where CoD isn't promoted as heavily.... the Playstation. The partnership with MS with CoD does make the Xbox version sell more, but it still sells absolute truck loads on the PS3 as well. Bungie has already been a known brand on the Xbox. Very few people are going to abandoned ship on the Xbox side due to a shift in marketing, so why not try to capture a relatively new and untapped market that has been envious of not getting Bungie titles for over a decade? Seems like a good idea to me. tl;dr.... I didn't read it either, so you're ok.
