Now the inb4 is out of the way...
It says a lot when the smartest chap on the planet says Socialism isn't a bad idea. Just look at Scandinavia, Socialist countries and yet... arguably the best places to live on the planet.

Venezuela is just as socialist, they're still having a toilet paper shortages because of socialism. And it's no longer toilet paper. Eggs, milk, diapers, everything you take for granted in a capitalist system is under a shortage in the socialist country of Venezuela. They literally have ration lines there like they did in the Soviet Union. But Socialism made everything better amirite?

Out and out socialism is bad, the same goes for communism. However, a blend of Socialist and Capitalist policies can make for some of the nicest places to live on the planet. i.e Scandanavia. Ensuring a basic standard of living for all humans in a country should be more important than ideology. 'Free*' healthcare, a house to live in and food to eat aren't a privilege, they are the basic human rights. The overly long 30 points of bullshit is something that I could care less about, but people should be able to live at a vaguely human level of existence and not live under bridges and eat from bins. *At the point of access, funded by taxes of the general population.
