Probably Batman. Though I love the portrayal of Oliver Queen/Green Arrow in Arrow. Haven't read any of his graphic novels, want to start. Any recommendations with a similar tone to the show?

He's very different in-canon. In the show, he reminds me of Batman. If you want to start with something of similar tone, go to a comic book shop and start with Scott Snyder's New 52 Batman Volume 1. If you want to expand on your knowledge, I recommend Geoff Johns' Justice League.

Strikes me as very different to Batman because he's basically the same guy in and out of the costume, he forms real relationships, doesn't totally disappear into his identity as the Arrow. Whereas Batman's more of a schizophrenic, once he dons the cowl he's a totally different man.

Sure, but the darker approach to Queen's character is totally mooching off of Batman's vibe. Typically, Queen is a light-hearted hero.

I enjoy this portrayal. Honestly surprised at how fantastic the show is, especially since Season 2 began. Can't wait for Slade to get the super-soldier serum and fully become Deathstroke.

I'm also a viewer of the show. I absolutely love it, I'm just having trouble catching up on the episodes because I'm moving out of my house rather suddenly, so I don't have my internet working and stuff.

Jarred me a little how they're bringing all these superpowers into what I found a pretty Nolan-esque grounded show in S1, but the reveal at the end of episode 7 pretty much confirms Ras Al Ghul's Lazarus Pit as a force in the Arrow universe. Should get good.
