But once in the later stages, it is almost unstoppable.

    just an FYI: the whole thing about the elderly hikers who got it? foot amputations and the husband died. the old lady lived, but barely. it took doctors a long time to find out that it was bubonic plague and unitl then they were under quarantine. they had to fly CDC agents to NY.
