It's a little to early to tell for me, so far I'm really enjoying BF4 and I think it's a great game but BF3 is a hard game to top.
I think when the DLCs are out and I'm on a next gen console it will certainly be topping BF3.
Also, Sniping is really quite easy in BF4. Zeroing and extra zoom scopes with some very nice rifles makes it quite a treat. Just make sure when you are aiming/shooting you are perfectly still and use the same sniper rifle for a while to learn it's kill times and bullet drop.

Heck even I don't find it that difficult and it's my first battlefield game. I went into it from being purely a halo multiplayer person and once I got the bullet drop down it was easy. Easier than I expected.

Yeah, all the extra little things they have tweaked have made snipers pretty friendly to newcomers unlike BF3 where half of the game was spent learning how to use the artillery sticks. (Aim a mile above the head etc :c) Now with rangefinders, zoom scopes and no constant scope glare you can be an effective sniper even without a lot of experience :D
