So far, but a season 2 is definitely on the way, plus the manga is even further into the storyline right now.

I hope the show doesnt wait until the final episode of the series to finally get them protagonist to his basement. Its seems possible that it may happen so I am concerned.

They don't get to the basement in season 1 of the anime. Like nowhere close to it.

Do you know if there will be a third season? Google failed me. I really enjoyed the show except the part where he uses his geass on his sister. That just seemed to preset it really didnt seem like a coincidence and as smart as he was he wouldnt have joke around with it like that.

Based on my googling over the past years, Code Geass has a odd ending. The director(I think) said that is up to individual to interpret if he died, while the bonus scene shows that he lived. Akito the Exiled is the newest short series based on pre season 2 in Europe.

Some parts of Code Geass really made me go like "NO LELOUCHE, DON'T DO IT!" Anyways, pretty sure there is no season 3 in the works, because everything pretty much got wrapped up in season 2.

Thats a shame. It was a great show with an amaZing foundation and it could have easily lived much much longer.
