I want a FF game with real-time combat mechanics and a 3rd person view that isn't 30 ft away from your character. Something with HUD bobbing from combat and a more gritty fighting style but still with the colorful art style of FF. That would be so damn wonderful. I always liked the art style of the FF games but never the game mechanics or any of that magic bullshit.

FFXIII-3 is pretty close. It looks like you'll be able to press the actions you want in real time.

Yeah. I know. I just saw it. I would want it to be nothing like Ryse. I would just want some 3rd person real time figthing with the FF style.

Combat like Ryse? Lolno. I wouldn't touch that FF game with a 10-foot pole.

Well not really like Ryse. I would just be fine with a real-time combat system and a 3rd person view that isn't 30 ft away from your character I would. Yes, it would alienate many fans of the classic series, but it would appeal to new ones who may be interested in it. it would be a gamble, but if it payed off, it would be worth it. And at this point, Square Enix really needs a lucky break

So, You mean "Action RPG" as opposed t "Turn-based RPG?" Final Fantasy XV will be Action, similar to Kingdom hearts.

I just don't want a bird's eye view for the perspective during combat, and I want a more dynamic combat system.

That's basically what the new one looks like. Real time combat, probably similar to kingdom hearts gameplay.

No I asked people to explain FF to me and they said each game is it's own story. The only thing each game shares is a similar lore and enemies for the most part.

Good, because this one looks pretty cool. I wasn't to big on the turn based combat system they had in place. I played the demo for..13 I think? I could barely understand what to do.

Yeah that's why I started asking around about FF, because this new one uses a different style of combat which interests me.

Yes. FFXV is FF with KH gameplay.
