I think the person talking is possibly the new villain who Drake betrayed and now that guy wants revenge. I also have a feeling we're going to learn a lot about Drake's shady past.

So it could be that we play as Francis in the beginning and then it time skips to Drake finding clues about his father's death?

Maybe....I'm not to sure what the plot could be though. Naughty Dog always surprises me.
