>pretentious diction up the a$$ >not juvenalian satire >blind eye against other philosophical representations of religion >no cacophonous slurs >no shrek >no mtn dew this is a bad thread by petard standards. scratch that, this is a fcking pathetic thread by petard standards. step up your game petard; or else you'll soon be devising plans to save organics by killing them with synthetics.

  • I know it's fun to use hyperbole, but you do realize that part of the logic made sense right? The Catalyst wasn't trying to prevent the act of synthetics killing organics from taking place, but to prevent synthetics from exterminating organics. The means are the same but the ends are different.
but to prevent synthetics from exterminating organics
by doing what exactly?

  • They were preventing organics from going extinct. There is a difference between killing organics and killing them off for good.

  • The organics were stored in reaper form. That's what the harvest is; essentially melt them down and build a new reaper. I assume the genetic information is stored somewhere in the reaper

bingo. what's the positive to being stored in reaper form? how is this a viable solution?

  • That's not what I referring to. I'm referring to the harvest. Yes, they killed organics, but they did it so that more organics could live. If they didn't value organics living "free" in any way, they would have just reaperfied everyone at first contact. I know you've read this before, but what I'm saying is that the conclusion isn't that far-fetched, and simplifying the logic down to the means is pointless.
