Edited by Tartan 118: 11/12/2013 7:51:54 PMI don't know how to do it, but I could try recording the ending
which is the only part that's really relevant to Infinite
, upload it to Youtube, and you could be like WOAHWAT.

Gooled it after I posted. Didn't like it.
Probably because of Troy Baker's tremendous voice-acting but I still felt sorry for the guy. I just have to remember the monstrous, thieving, racist -blam!-bag he was. Even if he has repented.
-
I would feel sorry for the guy anyway. Elizabeth is kinda a dick
-
It's Comstock. -_-

Also, notice how Elizabeth in the memory isn't wearing a bird/cage necklace. Maybe that's to imply detachment from a specific playthrough, but the lead Elizabeth of the ensemble at the end of the main hand is also necklace-less. And she doesn't disappear like the others do.

Yeah, but from what I understand he genuinely wanted to atone for his sins. And Elizabeth killed him simply because he was a Comstock right? I don't see any legitimate reason why it was right for her to kill him. This Comstock/Booker hadn't done anything to the specific her just any one of the infinite number of Elizabeth out there. Plus, If I understood the last bit of Infinite correctly. There is a Comstock for every Booker - why do the inherently deserve to die? Basicly, Elizabeth shouldn't be imposing her personal vendetta on the entire multiverse.
-
I understand why she wanted to do it, but does that make it justified? The Luteces also accuse him of stealing Booker's life, post-Wounded Knee. But is that not a victimless crime? Perhaps they just consider it abhorrent in light of everything he's done. Which, actually, if he reassumed Booker's mantle after Anna's decapitation, doesn't include Columbia and the associated horrors. But he still stole and accidentally killed Anna. Does it matter which Annalizabeth Comstock hurt at any time? Justice would still be sought by whomever knew of it. Next point: every Comstock is a bastard. That's a constant. Don't forget there are variables and constants (which theoretically nullifies the possibility of infinite events [not an infinite number of multiverses]). As for Elizabeth's vendetta, I was too mingblown to think about it yesterday, but her character arc has taken a very sinister turn. She is acting out of malice, even if it is for justice or righteous vengeance.
I love that the game gets us debating like this. :D

Just completed it a second time. Still really good. Ken Levine has hinted at one last visit to Columbia before the end of the story. My guess is
Elizabeth has to defeat a Big Daddy and tears to Columbia just like she defeated Songbird with tearing to the underwater city. The Big Daddy plummets to its death.
I actually went out and got it a few nights ago. It was OK, but wasn't worth the price. £12 for 1.5 hours of game time? Yeah - not worth it. Ending is a little better now I've seen it for myself (
Still think Elizabeth is a bit of a dick though
). And the gameplay?
Fighting the same damn bullet sponge Splicers over and over again got boring fast. Also, that Big Daddy fight and the end was horrible
The production value was damn high, which explains the high price.
