At first I thought it was an actual exchange, but then I realized it's just a raffle.

still, at least its something instead of just bragging rights. Sony will have to be on the look out for moders now more than ever. i dont know if PSN has the same issues as LIVE where people hack their gamerscore but im willing to bet people are going to try now.
-
Still, the winnings are extremely limited and modding can only help chances. If it were an actual exchange like I had presumed before watching the ad, modding would be a much more serious issue.
-
i wont dispute that. still at least its something.

something > nothing And you do get an extremely tiny cashback reward of 1% at 10k GS, 2% at 25k GS and other ways to earn credit with Microsoft if you're signed up with xbox live rewards. It's not much either, but it's something.

thats pretty nifty as well. i wonder why i havent heard of this before now. i have around 30k...
-
After a little bit of digging, it has changed to with a 10$ purchase, you get <10k---.5%cashback <25k---1%cashback <75k---2%cashback +75k---3%cashback with cashback being redeemable every 5$ earned or 1$ if you request early.
-
wow. thats... so small. Gamestop has recently changed the way they do rewards as well if i remember correctly. also they now have QR codes on the receipts so you know they'll have an app for the X1 to redeem that stuff.
-
QR codes on receipts :o I don't even. I think the rewards account I'm tied to has about 30,000 points on it. (Never have spent the points in 6 years lol). I personally liked the old xbl rewards system better where it was 1 or 2% on every purchase rather than a 10$ minimum, but there are other ways to earn monies as well, so it's not like that is the only way.

QR codes. that was my receipt for buying Beyond: Two Souls back in October (8th). right now its just a link to the survey but that will probably change. i dont know if you have seen the Vine from Major Nelson on how to redeem LIVE codes with the X1 but basically you just hold up the QR code and Kinect reads it and bam! code redeemed. Gamestop is probably going to try to use that to its advantage with its new program Kongrigate or whatever.
-
...? I know what QR codes are and heard about the Kinect2.0 Redemption a while back; I was just being mesmerized by the widespreadedness of QR codes.
Enjoy watching Beyond Two Souls, the movie?
i have no idea, Gamestop is full of WTFH these days.
hahaha, i knew what i was getting into. though the gameplay tease did upset me a little. its not for everyone, but it was enjoyable enough for me.
Yeah, shopping for games has gone from browsing a selection in a store to reading about it months before release and stopping by twice to preorder and pickup to avoid extraneous offers.
I watched a full playthrough with 0 commentary and felt like I wasn't missing much. The story was entertaining though.
Edited by Comet: 11/12/2013 4:51:03 AMhaha yeah exactly. im going to be very on edge when i go in to see what games they have on sale this week because the store people just... hover. "hey do you need any help?" "hey, we have this shit on sale that you dont care about" "hi im really bored, im going to pretend to straighten these games on this rack that is conveniently close to you."
yeah, i totally called it that it was her twin though.
There's never a comfortable in between. Either the cashiers are watching your every move or too busy with the long line to notice that the screaming 10 year old broke the 3DS display.
David Cage writing at its best. But Stan got to me.
