At least Mako had every right to do it. Korra was being an absolute moron and I wouldn't have wanted anything to do with her, either. Now what would be fantastic on the writer's part would be if Korra actually accepted her mistakes and allowed Mako and Asami to be together. That would show an enormous amount of growth and maturity.
But I doubt the show is ground-breaking enough to do that.
Mako? Stupid? Mako's been the only voice of reason this entire season. Lin took a bunch of stupid pills and won't listen to anything he says (Like basically everyone around him).
No, not really. Mako has been figuring everything out that nobody else can. He's been constantly trying to reason with people around him and nobody gives a shit. Not even the fucking Chief of police knows what she's doing. I would like to see your explanation for why he is as stupid as everyone else.
Mako has been figuring out everything because he is the most convenient character to do so, not because he is overwhelmingly smart.
you would think that Asami would be wise to Varic since she obviously knows the ins and outs of business. Bolin is too preoccupied with his acting to notice anything wrong and Lin has been reduced to a stereotypical background character. Mako just fits into the Maverick role well enough. (also hiring the triple threats? lol)
damn even though im not on mobile i still cant find the rant i was going to copypasta.
