It would be nice to have them but the cards are meant to be a rare and special thing for the people that went to the Bungie booths at certain events. If they release HD photos of the front and back of each card then people would then just print them off and make their own cards. Yes they wouldn't be actual cards but it still would make the actual ones less special. Now that's not to say they wont make them available for everyone to buy for a limited time or even give more chances for people to get them, but I think it wont be till sometime around Christmas if something were to happen. If they did do that then I would imagine that the cards would still be slightly different. I could be completely wrong though, Bungie can be very sneaky sometimes.

you are a funny person.... you sir have made my day... I agree in that the cards are cool and unique. i disagree in that if they are meant to be rare and special it should have come with a single use code and not the multi-use code that it has. And Bungie should not have encouraged the sharing of these codes. For you to say that because there are a lot of FAKE cards out in the wild will make the ORIGINAL less special is absurd. That is the funniest thing i've read. Thats like saying Mona Lisa isn't special anymore because there are millions of copies of it. ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I think having more copies of it just make it more popular. If people wanted to they'll make a FAKE card with the pictures thats floating around now. Even if people made the cards off of prints online, as the saying goes "we all know who has the real ones and who has the fake." IMO only and idiot would go around saying that they have the trading cards when they made it themselves. again IMO Bungie should not by any means give out these cards (#1 - #14) to any and everybody anymore. That would really take away from the SPECIAL of the cards. The time for those cards have come and gone and who ever has them are holding piece of history. Its like they can reprint the #1 issue of ACTION COMICS that feature superman but it'll never be worth as much or as special as the original which is like $480,000. Now That is special. Number 1. The first appearance of Superman from 1938. Valued at a mere... $470,000*.

  • I apologize if I was not clear in my opinion or even if you did not read what I said to its fullest, but I will evaluate my opinion further because I feel as if you didn't understand what I said and got kind of rude in your response. What I meant by what I said is that I know the cards wont be actual cards if they give the pictures out and people make them. Yes that wont actually decrease the value of the real cards, but to me if they did that and I was an owner of some of the cards and they release HD pictures of the fronts and backs then it wouldn't feel as special because everyone would know what they look like. To me I would like that feeling of knowing that I own something that most others want or wonder about what they look like so when I would show my friends the cards they would be like "Whoa! I never seen these before!" instead of "Yeah I seen those on the internet, they look pretty cool" especially if I would of traveled all that way to get them. Yes I know there are already pictures out there of the cards and there is nothing we can do to stop that sort of thing cause it will always happen. Also, Bungie has done stuff like this in the past where they give people something unique that also comes with something that they can share with the community if they want. It's a way to help improve community involvement and gives the community a chance to come closer together as a whole, so it's not surprising that they gave out these rare and unique cards with multi-use codes.

  • It wasn't my intention to be rude to you. I can respect your view of how if you were the one to have the cards you rather that most people not have seen it to make it more rare. Me on the other hand is opposite. I'm more like "you have all seen these cards online but now BEHOLD I SHOW YOU THE CARDS". People all start clapping and cheering. LOL. If the general public don't know about the cards or dont know what they look like and you show it to them they'll be like "what, are you playing with Pokemon cards?" that would be a utter FAIL. So with that I say we agree to disagree

  • I can agree to that, both our views are part of the same coin, no matter which way it lands the people who have the cards will still have them and the cards fate will rest in those peoples hands.

  • Sadly, but very true. The originals should stay unique, for those who traversed the dangers of the wilds to obtain them ... but it would be very cool if those of us who preordered were able to obtain something 'special' in that way ... even if via email.

  • the original will stay unique and those people who own them are lucky to be holding a piece of history. I'm not saying give out the same cards to everybody. HD pictures would be nice. sooner or later the pictures of these cards are going to be everywhere.
