Hate to agree with Rose but the Confederate flag is rarely used to represent racism.

Indirectly, it does. The Confederates stood for states rights, the principle one being slavery.

These days though, the Confederate flag stands for being a redneck rather than being a racist.

Maybe to someone who is a redneck. But as an outsider, it just make you all look like racists.
