Logical Answer: This is correct, jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt steel. However at 700°C and above The steel loses over 80% of its structural strength. The fire was burning well over that temperature. coupled with massive existing structural damage from the impact some of the upper floors collapsed. From there the falling floors had a massive cascading effect, bringing the whole building down.
