it's like "woah, 10,000, that's like a big number or something." the average english speaker knows something like 15,000 words. although, he is an owl, so i guess that's impressive.

I believe he meant 10,000 things as in 10,000 different subjects and all they encompass. But since this was a kids show that could have flew past their head.
