You realize that the only thing changing is the fact that everything done to a game is now automatic and you don't need to download an update anymore, right? There is absolutely no downside to this, think of it like how they implement hot fixes in Borderlands 2, or new matchmaking maps/ playlists in Halo. It is the exact same principle, just for everything.
How can this possibly be a negative?

False, Microsoft is not "PC". PC stands for personal computer, something multiple companies manufacture, and have different operating systems like Linux. Microsoft has the Windows OS.
