I recently switched to PC, even though Sony is better than Microsoft right now in my opinion, it's just a matter of the lesser of two evils. I'm tired of corporations deciding how I game. Now, I'm free.

I do have Windows 8, but unless I were to decide to buy my games through the Microsoft Store, it doesn't matter. The Microsoft Store (or whatever it's called, I don't use it) works pretty much like the store for Xbox. But while on Xbox you're limited to that, on PC you have other options as well.

Yeah. I just don't like the fact that MS is closing up the PC.

Windows is just a license. Microsoft doesn't have any power over the hardware I'm using, or how I get my games, or play them. On Xbox, they decide the price of games, the DRM, how online is handled and they also charge for online.
