The unimpressiveness can be understood due to personal opinions. But being based off the game this so can not be because extremely little has been shown and bungie intends to keep it that way. That's why they are making the beta codes limited because they want to keep as much secret as possible and for people to experience slight things in the beta before release.

Edited by ZachOfAllTrades: 11/5/2013 1:25:32 AMI'm not sure if one million prospective beta players, half of which will be uploading their adventures to YouTube, is considered "limited" or could hope to keep anything secret.

So you know exactly how many beta codes are being sent out then is what you're saying.

Bungie had stated earlier that they hope to have over one million beta downloads by the time of it's release. I believe they were referencing how their servers will handle the load.

Oh see now that's cool I haven't heard that thanks for the update man but I was also told the codes were first come first serve but if you think about 1 mill to a world of id say approximately 2 bill gamers ain't much obviously those numbers ain't real but there's a lot of people in the gamer world

They have said they are treating the beta like a full product launch, which means most of the full game features will be in the beta, and Zach is right that they want over a million in for the beta. The limited time thing may have just been a disclaimer that at some point pre-orders will no longer come with a code.
