Scrub question here. I haven't played MGS since 1 on my PS1. What're the differences between Big Boss and Solid Snake? And what games do you play as the 2 different characters?

Solid Snake is a clone of Big Boss aka Naked Snake. Ah okay, thanks mate. I was always under the assumption that MGS5 was Solid Snake just grown old and injured with an eyepatch or something. They're games I've always wanted to get back into but haven't had the time/money to do so. I just have vague childhood memories of my older bro playing one where you could blow cigarette smoke onto lazers and hide under the box. So it'd be a neat little nostalgia trip.
