I think I'm one of the only people who didn't care if this happened or not. To make a game as vast as Bungie is making this game seem, they were going to have to skip out on certain stuff. They wanted this game to be first and foremost an FPS and that's what they're doing. There's always the possibility of it being a thing in a future game, I'm sure they wanted to lay a ton of ground work into the first game of the series.

I know that's how I felt too, I mean if it WAS in there sure, it would be just an extra cool thing to do, but the game is primarily a First Person Shooter and that's what they set out to achieve. I'm not overtly bothered that it isn't in there and didn't think it would make the final cut anyway, but something extra and different is always nice :D
