meta critic scores use reviewer scores tjhough... Unless you mean the user ratings, in which case we should also use youtube comments as the basis for our literature and rhetoric!

Most of the times its people giving a 0/10 because they disliked one part of the game and then others giving 10/10 to offset the zeros. A good example would be any CoD games metacritic score, they range from 1-4 except cod4 and WaW.
