How many of the people here complaining about "Obamacare" pay for their own insurance, and went through the exchange?
Just curious if anyone actually knows what they are talking about.

Edited by Jim the Admin: 10/24/2013 4:28:11 PMSee, the problem I think is gonna happen. All these kids coming out of Highschool. They aren't gonna want to grab onto health insurance. "We're young, we bounce back." It's a plan I feel the youth just won't sink their teeth into. Heck, I don't even want insurance, I just know its stupid not to have it. Edit: I want to make it clear I am at a part of this youth, not apart from it.

I pay for my own and I'm pissed that my current plan will be terminated on January 1, 2014 to be replaced with a twice as high cost for a different plan. And then the following year it would quadruple. -blam!- this president, and -blam!- his administration.

What's laughable is why. Did you look? I had to call my broker to find out why my plain vanilla plan was being cancelled. Here is what she told me: "Your plan doesn't cover prenatal and maternity." My plan was designed for men aged 30 to 50... The ACHA mandates that there be certain minimum coverages, and pregnancy is one of them. So, if Mrs Charlie knocks me up, my new more expensive plan will cover me...

I did. Stop acting like I'm some kid you -blam!-ing idiot. If anything is laughable, it's your ridiculous false assumptions. Shut the -blam!- up idiot. I feel sorry for your kid and I hope for his sake, he doesn't end up like you.

Umm... Where did that come from? I was agreeing with you and talking with you as I would an equal. You and I are probably the only ones on here, aside from the mods, who buy our own insurance. So, if you think I'm talking down to you, I apologize, such wasn't my intent. But bringing my kid into this? -blam!- you. -blam!- you very much.
