Real Name Profiles on Xbox One and PS4
Could someone tell me why this is such a big deal? Why the hell do you want to use your real names on a gaming console?

Two words HELL NO XB1 and PS4 is NOT twitter or FB. A gaming alias is part of the culture. For those who dont like that, go play FB games.

WoW lets you choose for your super close friends to either Real ID or Battletag. This lets you talk to the person whenever they're on, regardless of what character they're playing. You can even talk to them if they're playing Starcraft or Diablo. With Real ID you give them your email, which them shows the name you registered your WoW account under. With Battletag, you give them a number which is universal across all your Blizzard games and lets you do the same things, but without giving your name. It's a pretty neat system.

I think it'd be nice to be able to see and show your real name to friends you know in real life, but its certainly nothing to be excited about. I don't understand it either really.
