Oh god the starting weapons for Halo 2, 3 and Reach sucked. I understand you're supposed to find map weapons, but there's no reason why you couldn't have something you can use to defend yourself with against a guy with the BR. They somewhat fixed it in Reach with the pistol, but the AR is still shit. I'm glad 343 went back to having weapons that are useful.

So true. The AR is shit. The Plasma rifle is only good if you have a pistol. The SMG is shit and the pistol is shit. I know the last 2 you're supposed to duel wield, but even then the damage you are doing is shit.

I agree with the shield. I know it's a onetime use thing, but there was no real way to counter it. You either had to wait for it to drop or go inside it and destroy the generator.

I liked the SMGs alot. Honestly preferred even one at close range over a shotgun. And yes, I completely hate the bubble shield and regenerator.

My bad. The weapon that takes an entire clip to kill somebody and almost an entire clip even with 2 is the greatest weapon ever. Bungie sure does know how to make a weapon sandbox.

That's the thing, I don't pick those fights. I gauge your distance and what weapon you have, creep because most often chase me, find a clever spot, then spring onto someone and disperse half the rounds in one of them and they're down in 4-5 seconds. If you have a long-range weapon, you can guarantee you will never have a clear shot at me unless I give you one, or you rush me with multiple people.
