Is the M416 overpowered in BF 3 or something?
My friend enters a match, kills another player with the M416 and immediately gets booted by the admin.
Either the admin has a grudge against that weapon or it is overpowered.

Edited by Elrond Hubbard: 10/19/2013 9:39:46 PMSo many scrubs in here saying 'no you mean the M16' The M416 has had a strange trip. It was OP as heck in the Battlefield 3 beta, then got over-nerfed, but now it's back to being one of the best guns in the game. Admin might have not liked it.

The M416 is alright. It's somewhat balanced stats wise. The m16 is a better option as it would win 9 times out of 10. My personal choice is the AN-94. You can get kills from any distance if you time and pace your shots.

1 ReplyI assume you meant the M16. I wouldn't say that it's overpowered, but rather that it is the easiest gun to use.

Dude the MP7 with an extended mag and kobra sight is where it's at. That gun will -blam!- every other gun inside 50m. It literally has no recoil and is insanely accurate in hip fire especially with a laser sight.

It was my most used weapon when I played. There was just something about that gun, man.
