Is it overclocked? How long has the problem been going on for?

It has been going on since I installed the graphics card disc. Also how do I check if it's overclocked? I'm a novice when it comes to these things.

Oh, you just installed a [i]new[/i] card? Yeah, you definitely need to go to the manufacturer's site and get the correct driver; don't forget to blacklist the old one.

To overclock it has to be done manually, so I doubt that's the case. Is it being ventilated good? Sounds like it's overheating then crashes.
