That's correct, minus the period. Denmark has the same system as norway: 8 digits and no area codes. +45 seems logical since Norway is +47

Peculiar though, since England is +44 and we're some ways away from you lot. I imagine the point of the period is to simply make clear that that is the national code - the remainder being the actual number.

Northern Europe ish. Austria is 43, UK is 44, Denmark is 45, Sweden 46, Norway 47, Poland 48, Germany 49. Two digit codes were originally for larger countries, three digit codes for smaller countries. (so Finland, Iceland and Ireland all have three digit codes, for instance)
