I don't waste my time reading doctrine of hate groups or any so called "peace" groups. Mostly because all these people think they have life figured out and want you to abide by their rules and promise you happiness. It's all bullshit.

 •
all these people think they have life figured out and want you to abide by their rules and promise you happiness.
This applies to almost everyone.

 • Almost every group. But no, it doesn't apply to almost every human being.

 •
Almost every group.
Same difference. You're writing off an extremely large number of viewpoints.

 •
Same difference.
No, it isn't. Not every human being is part of a group.
You're writing off an extremely large number of viewpoints.
Yes, I am. Religion is bullshit, hate groups are bullshit, and peace groups and charities don't get anything done so we come to the conclusion that they're full of shit.

 •
Not every human being is part of a group.
I'd argue that the near-totality of humans have had their opinions strongly influenced by some institution or other.

You're writing off an extremely large number of viewpoints.
Yes, I am.
I don't really have a problem with judging the vast majority of viewpoints to be wrong, but you take it a step further and say that familiarizing yourself with them isn't worth your time, which strikes me as a sign of close-minded weakness.
I'd argue that the near-totality of humans have had their opinions strongly influenced by some institution or other.
Institution =/= a particular group with active members Let's not argue semantics.
I don't really have a problem with judging the vast majority of viewpoints to be wrong, but you take it a step further and say that familiarizing yourself with them isn't worth your time, which strikes me as a sign of close-minded weakness.
Actually, it's more like: I'm not going to waste my time reading extremist bullshit. I have a life with things to do, I'm not going to waste it reading the dogma of ignorant monkeys who think hatred is the answer to all their problems. Regardless, if I write a group off, it's because I have read their crap and know it's bullshit. The point is I'm not going to continue reading their shit and arguing it every day.
