America won both World Wars.

Lost War on Drugs and Obesity. We gave up and sat on the couch eating cheetos.
-
Typical American response when faced with facts.
-
So did half of Europe. And Canada. And Australia. And New Zealand.
-
Canada only supplied the US with bacon.
-
Canada stormed half of Normandy
-
Half? Those numbers don't seem right…Canadians were a minority. Hell, the French helped more in the invasion of Normandy. (Fact as there were a bunch of French who escaped to England then recrossed at Normandy)
-
They were with the british at the time
-
British shared landing zones with French, Canadians, Australians, and anyone else you want to throw in there. Americans had a beach front and a half all to themselves. Now I'm not saying we won the war single handedly like that other prick, but we did carry one of the largest loads.
-
The Russians helped in the Second World War the most USA just added enough forces to ya know win... Britain did the hardest work to the west of Germany and Russia did the hardest work to the east of Germany Then USA came in and took all of the credit after all of our hard work ;_;
-
Britain was a bombed-out wasteland, and if the Soviets were allowed to reconquer the entirety of Europe the Iron Curtain would've been the Iron Blanket.
-
Single-handedly?
-
If it weren't for American intervention Britain and France would be non-existent.

Edited by rocketFox: 10/10/2013 10:27:05 PMNo shit. But when you say "America won both world wars" it just comes over as sheer ignorant arrogance. Protip; other countries were also involved.
-
America came out of both wars with the least amount of infrastructure damage, monetary loss, and manpower loss. Yes, they won both wars.
-
You were further away! If Germany was at your doorstep you would be -blam!-ed
-
Well by that criteria New Zealand won the second world war. *facepalm*

Just thought I'd let you know that the the nuke we blew Japan up with wasn't built by someone born in America.
-
I just thought that I'd let you know that the USA was the country that sanctioned the nuking of Japan :/
-
It is sad isn't it :/
-
Yes it is
-
Better than trying to invade Japan, at which point we would have to commit genocide to get them to consider surrender - No, nukes were the only thing that would've stopped them.
-
Sure it was a necessary evil but it was still cold, evil and brutal. Babies were born with hands and feet with no legs and arms and junk. I'm pretty sure genocide would've been kinder
-
And on the flip side, tens of millions off Japanese still live and prosper, and both Hiroshima and Nagasaki are thriving cities today. yeah it was bad what happened and it can be hard to justify it - but it was the lesser of two evils.
-
I strongly disagree with you. If these people didn't exist then you can't miss what you never, ever had
